Fibula
The fibula is one of two bones in the lower leg. It lies medial to the tibia and unlike the tibia is not a weight bearing bone.
It forms three main joints, its articulations are:
With the lateral condyle of the tibia to form the proximal tibiofibular joint
With the fibular notch of the tibia to form the distal tibiofibular joint
With the talus of the foot to form the ankle joint.
